It's Pneumonia not a PE

I just heard from the Doctor's office that it's Pneumonia not a PE. So I continue the antibiotics she started me on yesterday and include nebulizer treatments. The lung is still partially collapsed but they seem to think it will re-inflate when the Pneumonia clears up. Please Keep me in your prayers, Va 14 sunrises in NewPouch

I am praying for you! I just had the same situation and it kept me in the hospital for 4 days after my surgery. Things will get better! Promise, I feel better already and still haven't gotten over the pneumonia. Hope things look up for you, and feel better!

Oh, thank you Lord!! I've been praying all day, Va. Such good news! I know it's not fun, but up until this past winter, I got pneumonia about every-other winter. It's not a pleasant thing, but at least it's not chest-tube material. PUMP fluids (shouldn't be a problem since ya have to anyway right now...). It'll clear up, and I'll keep praying that that lung will jump back into place ASAP. SO relieved for you, Va... Don't scare me like that again!! Even though I am kind of new on this post I have been thinking of you and am SO glad to hear that it wasn't a PE, pneumonia is no fun, but hopefully the antibiotics will kick in and you will be feeling much better. I will continue to pray for your speedy recovery! Trish

Va, So glad it isn't PE, I'm sure pneumonia isn't any fun, but you'll get over that pretty quick with the antibiotics. You have been in my thoughts and prayers, everytime I think of you, (which is pretty often) I offer up a prayer and that will continue.
