It's Pneumonia not a PE
Well, I don't know if you're happy about that, exactly, but it sounds like fixing you is going to be non-invasive. I got out of my fun with an inhaler and variou*****ture marks from starting the CT-Scan IV.
I am on my last days of an oral antibiotic for a kidney infection and it tasted soooo bad I could not keep it down.
If needed:
combine Lactaid (or 1% milk if not lactose intolerant) and Splenda in a 1 Quart baggie. Seal the baggie.
Put 2 **** cubes and 3/4 c. salt in a gallon baggie.
Insert the small baggie in the big one. Seal the big one and turn for a few minutes.
Instant, VERY sweet ice milk that can kill the taste of anything no matter how vile.
You are definitely in my prayers. I'm mainlining my inhaler, too!

Hey Folks,
Thanks for all the positive thoughts and prayers. PE definitely stands for Pulmonary Embolism. And yes I'd rather have pneumonia than PE!!!
I'm just kinda down about the whole thing, seems like since surgery it's been 1 step forward and 2 steps back. Which makes it difficult to gain ground.
It really bothered me today & yesterday just how nonchalant my surgeon's office was about my being sick. With a statement like "it's non surgery related, so we don't treat that" just boiled my blood. Thank heaven's I have a fantastic PCM!!!
Thanks again,
Va

Well it's offishial.. it's "only" a new monya... better than an old monya I spose....
Seriously I am very happy it's not more serious and I am sure you'll be back to your old self sooner than later. You must be so discouraged right now.. We're sending hugs and prayers your way!!!
