My period is DUE the day of my surgery on Tuesday. This is NOT going to be fun. Not only do I have to deal with the pain of surgery but I have to deal with my period as well.

My is right around my surgery time too!!! I went to the store and bought some supplies for when I am in the hospital.....just in case it does happen. It will be really hard to deal with that and the surgery, and getting up to go to the restroom. Wouldn't it be great if we could turn it off like the kitchen faucet!!!!

Mine is due 4 days after surgery but I bet I'll start that day or the next. I'm almost sure of it.... Don't worry about it. A lot of women have this happen after any surgery... Cindy

I call my 'friend' Aunt Flo(w). She will be paying me a visit most likely as they're wheeling me down the hall! A friend and I have a joke about Aunt Flo. We say "Aunt Flo is driving up the street" or something similar when talking about our mood swings. When she told me that the other day I told her to go out and stop her. I asked her to tell Aunt Flo that there's been a change of plans and that she'll be staying with me this week but that next week she can go back to her house. She said "Not on your life, my DH would be insane by then!"Aunt Flo is just one of the indignities in life and we women are lucky enough to have her in our lives. Gayle Queen of Yarn Balls

I was due to start the day of my surgery but I didnt start until the next week. I usually go a day or two later each month but I guess the surgery put it off longer-thank goodness. Dont worry about it though. Lots of women have it when they have surgery. LaDonna -20

LOL!!! This is too funny. I was thinking the same thing this morning when I woke up. I should start this week but because I'm stressed about this surgery, I'm sure that I'll have it next week. AUGH!!!

I started the day before surgery. Had a hysterectomy at the same time as WLS, so that ended that! Hooray! No sense in getting upset about things you can't do anything about! Joy -19 lbs / 16 days
