I saw my surgeon yesterday andhe removed my JP drain tube. What a relief to have that sucker out !!!!! He was notpleased with my weight loss because he said it was too much. I am down 27 pounds. He said I am not drinking enough and that this is his weightloss goal for about 1 month. I am trying to drink more but it is really hard. Somedays I feel so bloated after drinking. Oh, he also said I could start puree foods. Yippee!!! Who knew how exciting pureed food would be!! I ate 1/2 of a scrambled egg with cheese. I could not believe that that 1/2 filled my up.

I will take -27 lbs most any way I can get it! But he is right on your need to stay hydrated! Be sure to get enough protein too. Eggs are a great start. Some people seem to lose a lot then stall, then lose a big chunk again, rather than doing it gradually. You may just be one of those. Just keep doing the right things and the weight will do whatever it is supposed to. Congratulations! Joy -19 lbs / 16 days

I know how you feel. I hated the JP drain. Dont worry about him not being pleased as long as you are doing what you need to do. Keep up the good work! LaDonna -22lbs my ette==>Teri
