What's the plan?
It depends on the person. I'm pretty open so most people who know me well will know. Just keeps life simpler. If the person who comments is obese I will tell the truth--I don't want to foster the lie that all you need is willpower to cure obesity.
There are some acquaintences who are just nosey that I may tell that I went to Tahiti for an exotic mud bath that draws out the impurities from fat cells!! (If you are going to lie, it may as well be a doozy!)

Well, where I work there are only about 70 employees, so everybody knows everybody. There were four people at work I told before I left. They're: my boss (Who is also a good friend) and the HR person at work, and the two other girls in the Acctg. office that I work closely with.
One of them is a gossip,
so I'm sure the news will get around. Even tho I'm not ashamed of the surgery, I really don't want to tell people. But like my husband said; you're going to be dropping weight quickly so you better be prepared for people asking how you're doing it. I'm sure that thanks to ther "gossipper" most people will already know.
She lost 25 lobs this year on Atkins, and knowing her she'll have nasty things to say about me. She's just a nasty person, and I have to deal with her.
