My sweet Betty is through her surgery and in her room. She seems to be doing fine and is sleeping a lot. The doctor never came out and talked to her husband. Grrrr..... But things in surgery seem to have gone well! Hooray for da Judge! Joy

Hooray for Betty! But if I was her husband, I find that surgeon and let him know he's got some 'splainin' to do. That's not only rude -- it's *wrong*! -Marcie T -11

I've been waiting for THIS post ALL DAY!!! You tell that Judgetress that I've been praying for her thru the nite (had a restless nite, awoke several times - yup, I'm almost back to 'normal' now ) and all day today. Give her my love and tell here I'm still looking around for her here in Newpouch...these dancing penguins are getting restless... Keep us posted, Joyful C....I'm so thrilled to hear this........ Alrighty, then! I hope her husband will follow up with the surgeon and ask for an explanation for why he was not spoken to. Remind the husband that this guy is getting paid plenty for doing this surgery and should adhere to the professional standards. A lot of people hesitate to put themselves forward with doctors, but the husband may relate to being a paying customer who did NOT get all the service required. And then perhaps we'll find that there was another emergency, he somehow didn't see the husband, or something more benign...well, we can hope. In any case, she's done and in her room and that's a good thing as our soon-to-be-incarcerated Martha might have said before her life tanked. Gano

Great to hear she is doing fine...that is awful about the doctor. My surgeon came out immediately to talk to my Hunny who isn't even my husband, but she knew he was a very important Significan Other to me....so treated him like one.
