Hello Marchers, this is my first time posting to this board but I have read alot of the posts. Well I had my surgery on March 8th and the surgeon went back in on the 9th because I had a pain in my left shoulder. Everything was fine and I came home on Wednesday the 10th. i was some pain, but realized alot of the pain was coming from the narcotic painkillers they prescribed me. Once I stopped that I felt better. I also had real bad swelling of my feet and ankles. But today I can say that I feel alot better, my incisions are healing, and pain is minimal. Except for one thing: My left side has been hurting for the past few hours, and it is very uncomfortable. This just started so I dont know if I should be concerned or not. Anyone have any suggestions or comments? Congratulations to all the post-ops and God bless the pre-ops, God bless us all!

Welcome! Your left side is where all the action took place. If it suddenly starts hurting in a way that it had not, call your doctor. It may be nothing, but it is better to be safe than sorry. That's why he gets paid the big bucks! Let us know what he says, but don't let it go very long without calling. Joy
