Bethany UPDATE

I found this note on Bethany's state board (MD). In another post they said that if she responds well, she might get to go back home Sat or Sunday. I spoke with Bethany tonight. Her Pancreatic enzymes are very elevated. Normal high is 300 hers is 896. Her liver enzymes have shot up a little too! The doctors are drawing blood to keep an eye on it to make sure it's lowering to its normal levels. She's been on an all clear liquid diet and she's not complaining. They reported to her tonight her enzyme count for the pancreas has dropped almost 200 points , but they want to keep her on this liquid diet to see if maybe it's inflammed by food?? They don't think it has anything to do with her insulin making abilities , but all in all Keep her in your prayers. She's in St. Agnes Hospitla Room 478 bed 1 . If there is something secret you want to know from her this is the best time to call and ask.........she's on morphine and as I learned this morning all confessions are out, hahahaha, kidding! Joy - thanks for digging this up for us. I can't believe she had to go back to the hospital!!! I will keep her in my prayers. Sounds like her sister is someone I could enjoy knowing as well....what a crackup! Dina
