I'm on the phone with Beth right now and she says "I'm feeling alright, a little nauseated and in pain but otherwise ok. I miss you guys and I can't wait to come back and give you guys some riddles" Her hospital phone number is 410-368-2466. She said to feel free to call. She doesn't know exactly when she's getting out of the hospital. She also says "Thank you for the prayers" Carrie

Hi, Carrie-- I wish Bethany a speedy recovery. I read your bio and just wanted to let you know I have knee problems, too. My ortho guy is doing the dance that I have had this surgery as I may avoid knee replacement surgery this way. I have an older friend, now in her early 70's, who was like the poster girl for being overweight and active. Well, guess what, she's had two knee replacements in two years and a blood clot with one surgery. She'll never play tennis again -- she was a truly great player and loved it. So hang in there! When I saw her go through all this, it was like looking in the mirror of what would happen to me some day. I didn't love the surgery, who does? And it definitely taught me I don't want to have some major procedure like a knee replacement. Yuck. Gano
