Surgery Cancelled and Rescheduled.

My surgery was acturally moved forward one day from March 17 to the 16th and then cancelled the morning of surgery! I have been rescheduled for April 2. I knew date changes happen, I just didn't think if would happen after the bowel prep!!!! Having a hard time adjusting to my new date but the doc is leaving today to go out of the country and i know it is for the better I wait. Just wanted to give the March Board an update since the last I wrote I was heading for surgery. I have really learned a lot from this board even thought I didn't post much and am still tuneing in. Hey, Karen -- everything works together for good. Don't be dismayed. It's only a postponement. Now you can tend to other things pre-op that you couldn't before. AND...no defection allowed. Once a Marcher, always a Marcher. You're OURS, hear me? I don't care if you go somewhere else, you're STILL ours!! We'll get ya thru 'til April 2nd. Not a problem. Just hang 'round. I can totally relate to you. I am on my 3rd surgery date. I was originally scheduled for March 2nd but got sick and was rescheduled April 5th. After a few weeks hanging out on the "April" board I found out yesterday I was moved up 2 weeks and now I am scheduled March 24th. I have to believe everything happens for a reason. I am fine with the changes and feel like I'm going along for the ride. My boss certainly isn't very happy - but that is another story. I would use the time to try to get in better shape before your new date. That's what I've tried to do. Best Wishes
