Start walking . . . NOW!

Hey Marchers! Of all months, we as MARCHers, should be the major walkers of the whole bunch! I don't mean to be negative, but since this is the 20th of the month, this message is going to be a little late for you with surgery dates March 22-31. But, I would imagine there are a few "other" pre-ops reading this, so take my advice and WALK! My legs/knees/hips are more sore than anything else. (I had lap RnY this past Monday.) Dr. DeWitt's pre-op instructions included walking, but my obesity caused great pains when I walked. I just wish, now, that I had "walked through the pain" and gotten myself a little more able to move. trusting HIM, LYNN

It's never too late to start. Your message holds true for postops too! I really had to make myself get out and walk today, but I did my mile. If the weather does not make this possible outside, then find a way to do it inside. JUST DO IT! Joy
