I am scheduled for 3/25/04. I will be at Harper Hospital. Anyone else having surgery there that day? I'm going thru all the normal anxieties and stress. *sigh* I pray this is going to work and I'll be fine.

Hi Nina, Welcome to the Marchers!!! I understand the anxiety and stress. I have been on an emotional rollercoaster the last few days. Just have faith that you did not make this decision lightly and that you will have an uneventful surgery and speedy recovery. Hugs, Mo doin' the OMG after tomorrow there is only a wake up left happy Mo dance

Nina, think good thoughts, stay focused and relaxed and stay connected to the reason you are doing this! The first 2 days after surgery is hell, or at least it was for me. By the 3rd, day you are up and walking -- a lot -- and can even plan to take a shower. I am almost 2 weeks post op and I can't believe how great I feel. I am walking a mile and a half every day -- a miracle for me. Choose quality of life. Don't give in to fear. Stay calm and trust your surgeon and your body. God bless and good luck! Maureen
