Another Marcher

Hi, My surgery is scheduled for March 30th at BTC Ypsilanti, MI. I will be having an Open RNY. Sending positive thoughts to everyone. Kimberly

Congrats on your upcoming surgery. I had my surgery done on the 15th at BTC in Ypsilanti. The nurses are great there. I didnt have any problems at all. I didnt even open my suitcase except to get out my portable CD player and my cds. I wore the hospital gowns, they are easy to get in ad out of with the iv's , and they had slipper socks they put on your feet. The day I was allowed to take a shower, they had an entire little container full of shampoo, and soap etc. They had the tongs to wipe yourself with, and a bath brush to clean your back. I am now 12 days out, and I feel pretty good. I dont do alot around the house, I try to get out and walk, but the weather has been pretty crappy. I hope you do as well as I did. Remember, walking is the key.. walk those halls much as you can, it helps heal you quicker. Good luck, and god bless!! Lorrie
