PRAYERS AGAIN PLEASE

Hi my wonderful Marchers. As some of you know I recently had pneumonia. Well, I went for my pre-op and things went pretty good. My Dr. Is starting off with antibiotics the day before my surgery and right before my surgery, just to make sure everything is ok. I woke up yesterday morning with a severe sore throat again, and couldn't hardly swallow. This seems more like drainage from sinuses. But lucky me ever since I was diagnosed with diabetesII I get really sick with anything and have a really hard time getting rid of it. That is why I am so anxious to have this surgery and hopefully be able to take better care of myself, and no longer need all the stuff for diabetes. So please if your not too busy say a little prayer for me too because I don't want anything to come between me and my surgery on Wed. Thank-you all, you are all the best. I had a rip roarin sore throat the few days before I went in, and laryngitis the day of - all sinus related. While I know all docs are differnt, mine said that as long as I had no fever and no flemmy cough, sugery was on. I'll say a prayer for you. mgm

Renee - No one wants to postpone their date but please please PLEASE don't keep this a secret from your doctor. You could relapse into pneumonia in the hospital where it could end up being very serious. It's nothing to mess with when you have had surgery. Please promise you'll tell him what is up. Waiting a couple weeks or even a couple months is worth suffering if it means the difference between you pulling through okay or not. Dina
