Well this is sort of silly but just an observation. I was driving to Walmart yesterday and thought to myself "self, life is the same. I feel just like I always have just with a burst of energy. I cant believe it has been over a month. I have waited to be on this side for so long." LaDonna -37

It is strange. If it wasnt for my pants falling off my tushie I wouldnt believe it sometimes. It freaks me out still when I can only eat half of something that used to be a tiny snack for me. I love it though, because I am amazed when my pants droop or my too-small bra fits! -Sherrie

I'm jealous LaDonna! I WANNA DRIVE!!! My hubby won't let me drive until tomorrow. Doc said two weeks after surgery I could drive so my hubby is holding the line. (Funny he didn't say that about sex!) I tried counting on my fingers to show him that it's been 14 days; it didn't work. He said tomorrow is two weeks and he'll give me back my keys then and not a second sooner. Funny the freedom that comes with being able to run down to the store when you want and not waiting to have someone else drive you. Gayle Queen Of Yarn Balls

I drove 3 days after surgery...and it is a good thing because I am single by myself....but I did not take any pain medications, and that is the thing my surgeon's office is most strict about...so as long as I could buckle safely and was not taking any medication for pain, it was a go! I would have been up a creek without driving for 2 weeks.
