Trying it out!
Well, I wish I would have been checking this before. I just wasn't thinking.
I suppose I thought I could get through on my own. Anyway, I am glad I checked in. It has been 28 days since my surgery and everything is going great. There of course have been a few hard times when it seemed like every time I got on the scale it said the same thing. It was like the scale was stuck and could only go to the same number everytime I got on it.
So, I decided to take the scale out of my bathroom, put it under my bed and not look at it anymore. I think I'm over that part now but then of course we just had Easter. I never really thought about not being able to sit down and really eat a big dinner like I use to until that day. Wow, was that a surprise! I still got to enjoy somethings with my family but it was a definite change. A good one though. Anyway, I have to say I have been truly blessed with everything, the surgery, my eating, the insurance, all of it. I have had no complications and everything seems to be healing well. I am down 30lbs and looking forward to more. It may be rough at times but with prayer and faith, we can all make it through. Thank you for listening! Hope to be back soon!

Dawn - DANG you sure have done good for that scale getting stuck! Way to goooooo!!!!
See - if you had come here more often you would have seen me sobbing and and moaning over my stall as well as a few others here.
Oh well - if there is one thing for us to know it is that not only are we normal to stall, but we're normal to get all worked up over said stall!

I hate the stalling. Its like we are eating hardly anything and not loosing. makes no sense. I lost 20 lbs my first week then the next 2 weeks only lost 3 pounds!! hows that for a stall!! I slowly started loosing again. So I feel you. It really sucks. I keep waiting for that fast weight loss to come up again. Hopefully it will. You start to feel like its not going to work. Best wishes
