DOES ANYONE KNOW IF WE WILL EVER BE ABLE TO DRINK THRU A STRAW AGAIN? AND WHEN?

One of the longer term post ops came to a support group meeting a couple of weeks ago with a sugar free slurpee from 7-11 and a STRAW. I think in time my doctor allows us to have straws back. As it was explained to me, it's an air bubble thing while the pouch is healing! Hugs, Mo doin' a happier happy Mo post op dance every day

I use a straw to drink my water, otherwise i get too much at a time and i get sick. I take small little sips with the straw. If i just drink water out of a glass without the straw, I am just too used to being able to slam it. Good Luck
