Went to Walmart.............

I went to Walmart today to have service done on my vehicle. While I was waiting, I stumbled across one of those expensive scales there. I checked to see if it was at zero and it was. I stepped upon it and YOWZA......230 pounds. Not bad for a start of 275 on March 18th, one day before surgery. That's 45 gone forever. Of course I still have a g-tube in which I pump glucerna, protein/w water and all that other stuff into. I went to work yesterday to get released from medical leave and the HR lady didn't even know it was me. I am fighting a flu bug right now. Temps are around 101 so it has not been fun. I can't seem to get to sleep in the bed so I sleep in the recliner. Every night the fever breaks and I am dripping with sweat. Then it starts all over again around 6:oo in the morning. This will too pass and life will be wonderful. On a second note. I love each and every one of you whether you choose to post or not. You are the only people I have besides my Dr. that I can come to in a time of need. I am relatively new to this board and have enjoyed everyone's posts. Can't we all just get along? The two reasons that I love thius board are for the people first and foremost and the support you all provide. Just my 2 Cents. But don't get me wrong. I am all for having fun also. Oh, sure, Gary... NOW you have the flu. You're doing this just to get all the rest of the gurlz to dote on you, right? First, you've got all those Colombian Hotties in "I Dream Of Jeannie" outfits fanning you and feeding you grapes while you're reclined on a bariatric chaise, and NOW you've got the flu, so you'll need cool compresses on your forehead, will need help sipping water, and will need to be scantily clad in order to ward off your fever, right? RIGHT?!? Hey, whatever works! Like I've said time and again, I treat my staff very well, and if you need those "perks", let the perks roll! Let me know if you need anything else! Oh, BTW, you were supposed to take MY Camaro in for servicing. Not a problem...it can wait 'til you're feeling better! That, and a zillion OTHER things on my "Honey Do" list! Love 'n misses!
