Kathy,
Thanks for the reply. Sometimes you gotta do what ya gotta do and I felt that the problem was behind that scab. It hurt a little but I am glad that I did it. I feel alot better and fever is now all gone. Had to change my name to show my love for Kimmer. She is a Queen to me whether her title is Queen or not. You are all Queens to me. Never have I met such a wonderful, caring group of people in my life. As I have said before; I love you all. Have a great day my dear and keep smiling. Thanks again.

Well, you KNOW I'm smilin' at your name, now, doncha?
That certainly did make my day. Er, week. Um, month? Yeah...we'll SEE 'bout year....but I'm liking it a LOT!
I've been trying to get over here since morning when Betty told me you were a'lookin' for me. Sumpin' goofy wuz happening with OH and my 'puters...then I find that my satellite TV stations are all out but a few...on all TVs (thank goodness Fox Cable News is on...phew! Can't live without THAT!!). Hmmm....thinkin' it's some kinda trick...
Cheez, Sweetheart...I'm gonna hafta send over a small contingent harem to take care of ya! How that must've hurt before ya got all the ookie stuff out. Owie.
And isn't it amazing how one isolated area like that can affect your entire system? I wuz tellin' Kathy this morning 'bout how I almost lost my MO basset hound daughter, Nada, last year 'cuz she's allergic to flea bites (go figure...
...a dog allergic to a flea bite...it could only happen to a dog of MINE...sheesh...
), and as cautious (bordering psychotic...) as I am to keep her flea-free, she got bit last summer without me knowing it. Well, a few days later she was lethargic and running a fever, and that nite her back hip "blew out" - an area about the size of a hardball just opened up on her poor fat thigh/hip and became an open wound: the flea bite caused an allergic reaction, which caused a small infection, which went 'systemic' in her and she went septic, and the entire infection "escaped" thru that hip, just blew out of her body, flesh and all. It was the most shocking and horrific thing that's ever happened to one of my (zillions of) animals. Nada's a peach, too...she's just such a lover, could live without food if you petted her enough. So that day I just thought she wasn't feeling real good 'n was being exceptionally clingy...'til I saw that hip. OMG...THAT recovery took about a month and a few full paychecks...but she's worth it.
So with YOUR compromised system right now, no more infections allowed, got it?
Don't MAKE me come down there!
You just stay on that rugged road to recovery, and know there's gobs of us prayin' for you and your returned health. Hey, I need ya...can't find good help these days, and especially not good Manservants, donchaknow!

Gary Gary Gary - what are we gonna do with you menfolk? Yeesh - gonna hafta stick y'alls in a hermetically sealed container until you're all done healing up!
Seriously though - that gunk that came out that stunk....that's what I've read about as being an infection. I would urge you to talk to someone and see if antibiotics are in order if you're not already on them. I do believe most of the folks who have had the wound infections have been placed on antibiotics, and indeed I know my friend who had the same problem with her c-section was to do the same.
Just wanting to keep you all nice and healthy! I would think a local doc could prescribe it for you if you need it.
Dina
Dina, Dina, Dina!
Where would I be without your infinite wisdom and help? Thanks for the reply dear. They sent me home with some antibiotics just in case this should happen and yes I am taking them. The drainage now is down to drips instead of streams and I have no fever. I feel great other than being a little weak and tired. Gotta rest cause I start back to work Monday. No worries though. I am a foreman in a warehouse and all I ride now is a desk chair and the clock...lol. Seriously, my employees have all called and said they would take care of me when I get back so not to worry. It's a wonder how going against todays styles of management and treating people like they are somebody can get you taken care of by employees! lol Have a great day sweetie and keep smiling.
