Hi all, Kat here with an eye witness report on Rob. I went to see him today and I think he looks much better than last Sunday, which is the last time I saw him. The nasal gastric tube is out, and his left arm did not have one single needle or tube in it! I think that's progress. Rob loves the Beatles so his daughter and I sang him "Help" and "I Get By With a Little Help from my Friends" - both appropriate songs. We got applause from the nurses, and he frowned whenever we forgot the lyrics. He is still on the ventilator. His fever was 101 when we left. I am going back in to see him tomorrow. Thanks everyone for your support, especially his Angel, Joy. Kat

I am soooo happy that he is doing ok. Have you had a chance to print any of this board stuff out for him? If he is able to read, I bet hed get a kick out of it. I know a lot of us check this board several times a day to see how he's doing. I don't even know him that well, but I sure have enjoyed what he's been bringing to this board, and can't wait to have him back! (Im SURE you feel even more strongly about that...lol) -Donna

That's great Kat! It is wonderful to hear that he is getting tubes and needles removed! That is the best news I have had today! Tell Rob his name is not Simon and he has no right to criticize the Kat n Katy act!!! I'm so glad he has you looking after him! Joy

Kat - thanks for updating us again. I am happy to hear of the progress but sad to hear it is so slow going! I take it this will be awhile before the fever breaks then? It sounded with the last update that it was to be expected. Keep singing those Beatles tunes and we'll keep praying! Dina
