Back Pain due to the weight loss???
This to me is a mystery. For the past 4-5 days I have been waking up with pain in my upper back. It's the same pain I used to get ages ago when I had a rotten mattress. Now I have a great one, and haven't felt that for a few years. Well, it's back. It seems that maybe my weight loss has shifted things a bit, and I'm not sleeping in the same positions anymore, so - upper back pain. Any thoughts?? Could my assumptions be correct?

For two days now I haven't been able to turn my head or look down at my toes. Seems I put a rib out way up high near my neck. When I asked my chiropractor he told me that with my weight going down so fast (seems to take forever to me!) that my body is moving and resting differently than it has in a very long time and that things that we never thought of before will start to do strange stuff, hence my rib 'going out'. The distribution of weight is changing almost minute by minute. I agree with the pillows under your knees, it straightens your back out better. And just one more thing, I haven't slept on my back or my tummy in like forever, now those are my best positions. Go figger!

I have had back trouble. I had a sciatica problem. Never had that before in my life and BOY was it painful, was on steroids for 6 days and pain killer. The other day I just turned in the chair and hurt the upper left side of my back it was better the next day but sore that whole night. So the weight shifting must definitely weaken the back or something. Best Wishes
