When I mentioned that things were bad at work, I didn't realize how bad they would get! From this last Monday through Friday I worked 89 hours. The worst part was that I worked from 2 pm Wed through 7:30 am Friday without sleeping, went home and got called back in at 10 am Friday for another 11 hours. Sure wish I was paid hourly instead of salaried! Of course, my eating, drinking and exercise were not according to any plan. I drank a protein shake every time I was home, and ate whatever they brought in (mostly pizza). I discovered that Pepe does not like catfish. (I dumped on it twice). I ended up drinking coffee and even one diet Dr. Pepper, that I poured over ice, stirred, and sipped on all day. Over the week, I did lose a pound, but I am angry and frustrated that I work in a situation that is that stressful to my health. Anyway, thanks for your concern. Hopefully it will get better soon! I used to be in a position similar to what you describe. I don't know how I would have handled it. At least you were able to stay focused enough to get in a protein shake when you could. Try to get some sleep - sounds like you could use it! I hope things let up a bit for you. mgm -40

Joy, Wow are you tough! I'm such a wimp, I'd never be able to hang from Wednesday to Friday with no sleep. Remember, your job is not your life. It's only a means to support your life. Hope next week is MUCH better. Connie
