Dawn,
I am so sorry for all you have gone through with your WLS!! God does love you and will always hold you in the palm of his hand. My stomach area felt that way on and off for the first 3 to 4 weeks. I wouldn't be surprised if you were still having some residual pain since they had to open you back up to repair the hole. Just to be safe, check with your surgeon. Take care and hang in there...hopefully the rough part is over!! LOL...

I had muscle pain for about 2-3 weeks. The doc told me that part of that was the stomach healing (the pain on the left side of middle), but part was also because they had to move so much out of the way that my stomach muscles would be sore. That's what made it difficult to stand up straight for almost 2 weeks. Wasn't able to lay straight in a bed for another 1-2 weeks.
Glad all is well with you now. The healing will take time, but keep walking as much as you can. As silly as I thought that sounded, when I couldn't even stand up straight, it did help!
