Hello, I was owner of a gastric band but on march 18 it went wrong the band was removed and at the same time I got a gastric bypass. Not to loose any weight but to prevent me gaining weight again. After a few days being an post op it went wrong again. My diafragma was broken and my stomach was comming through. That was repaired and now I am home recovering from this all. It is a while now but I still feel sick and nausious. Cant hardly eat or drink and I have a terrible taste in my mouth. Still not working because I am to weak. I want to know or anyone had experience about how long this will last?? Oh btw I hope you can understand what I am wrinting because I am Dutch and not so good in English.

Hellen, I haven't had any experience with what you are talking about, but I sure hope you start feeling better soon. Your English is great so don't worry about it. Connie

Hellen, I haven't had any complications but it did take me a while to be able to drink/eat and yes the taste in my mouth was awful...I think it's because our stomachs are empty! If you try at least drinking tea/water and eating some sugar free Jello I think you will feel better. I'm glad you are recovering and am sure you'll feel better soon...God Bless, Paola
