Hey Gang
Sugar Plum!!!
So glad to hear from you. You have been very much on my mind both last night and today. Each time you crossed my mind I said a little prayer for you. I've found through the years that when this happens the person is usually in need. I'm so glad to know that you have enlisted a doctor's help with your problem and there is hope in sight.
I'll keep you in my prayers.
Happy thoughts,

Hello~
I had the same problem right before surgery and thankfully the lidocaine really helped. I actually used the viscous type which is pretty much liquid and put it right on the toilet paper. I also cut out most dairy and that seemed to help with the diarrhea. I did not have to have surgery, thank goodness, and now I am back to normal. I do know how painful it is and I hope you are doing better soon! Congratulations on the weight loss!!

Shugaplum....
I am so sorry to hear of your tushy troubles! I hope the therapy works for you and you don't have to go in for any procedures.
As for fiber, you might try cauliflower, jicama and grain fibers like in Fiber Rye Wasa crackers as they might be less prone to cause more diarrhea than the fruit can...

Dear Martha:
so sorry you are having problems. I had that same problem after the birth of my first son. It took months to clear up, but that was 36 years ago and they must have a better idea of what to do now. Your weight loss is terrific.
I have lost 37 pounds and am delighted with that - I have 50 to go.
Feel better.
