Amber W...and then my doctor says...
Oh Wendy, what do we do to get a straight answer out of these Docters..did we go to the same surgeon LOL??!! And Sarah we DID go to the same surgeon and I asked hime the size of my pouch last visit. He said he makes ALL pouches between 1/2 oz to 1 oz. They use a balloon of some sort to make tem all just that size. I wonder though because ther is one gal on here that said her surgeon had to make hers 4 oz because of her anatomy. So I wonder how DR S can make them all between 1/2-1 oz? If he tells you something different let me know. Well last night I ate a whole piece of cheese thin crust pizza hut pizza and toppings (and a little crust) off of a second. that is the first time I have felt full in weeks...didn't dump though, just felt full.
I know that if we ask to see our surgery report most surgeons would have put our beginning pouch size in it..I don't know if my surgeon would be so happy about me wanting to see it though (he is very nice but so busy) I think I'll probably still ask, I'm pretty gutsy!! BUT then IF our pouches DO stretch our surgery report would be too small for us NOW..that is a BIG IF as I believe that they stretch great so we can have larger quantities but not quite sure that they really grow larger in capacity.

When I asked my surgeon how big my pouch was, he avoided the question. I then told him I needed a copy of the surgical report for my insurance company and he sent it right away. The size was listed on the report and I have felt better for knowing for sure. It is our right to know how our bodies were adjusted- why can't they just give us a straight answer!?!?!?!?!
