ANOTHER MILESTONE
Hi all! Just wanted to share that I weigh LESS than my husband for the FIRST time since the day we met 20 years ago! Very weird, all of it, just plain weird. Jim is a man of few words anyway but all he keeps saying is, "incredible" -- just that word, when he touches me or hugs me close..."incredible" -- it is, isn't it, for all of us!!! Have a great day! Reenie
Reenie,
That's wonderful! Isn't that a great feeling? Jim must feel like he has a new wife.
Everytime I date someone these days, it seems so weird to me that I weigh less than them. I'm still not used to being smaller than the men I date. Even at my previous husband's highest weight, which was considerable, I never weighed less than him.
It dawned on me a couple of months ago that I weigh less than my 20 year old strapping son. I have never weighed less than my son, he's a big guy.
Hugs,
Connie
Connie....it just dawned on me...I weigh less than my 20 year old son too....considerably less...for the first time.
so you are on the dating scene too...it's not easy, at least not for me. I do think I found the guy I want to be with, we've been friends for a while now. He's 2 inches taller than I am, and about 9 pounds more...so he's just right!
Take care and thanks for the reality check!
Joan
All of these milestones got me thinking..... For the first time in ages I don't weigh more than TWICE what my wife weighs. Not only that, for the first time since we met, I outweigh her by considerably less than 100 lbs.!!
As a matter of fact, I have lost more than her total weight! It really brings home to me how bad I had gotten when I was carrying a normal sized (but not tiny) adult female with me every day!
No wonder my knees were barking the way they were. This surgery was certainly a miracle, wasn't it???!!!
Mike

I recently got back into the dating scene and I have realized how much better the hugs are. I fit more comfortably with my counterpart and I really enjoy it. The closeness was not really there before because I was always bigger. So far, I have weighed less than my hugger and oh what fun it has been !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hubby and I certainly 'fit' better and the hugs are loads nicer!
I was talking with one of my nieces the other day and we figured that I had lost one of her and one of her little sister (2 years old) combined! Hey, I lost two kids!
Things are soooo much better all around, I'm so there with the proir comment about knees barking, I think mine may be permanently damaged though because they still bark. Not as loud and not as much but bark they do!
