PMS! HOLY MOLY!
I'm dieing here ladies. Since surgery I get a visit from my least favorite friend about every 2.5 to 3 weeks. The cravings are horrid! I WANT FOOD! Not little bits but big hearty BOWLS! I want nice hot creamy soup in a big bowl, I want a honkin' Salisbury Steak, mashed taters with lots of gravy and some tasty green beans. I big fat slice of cheese cake will do nicely for desert! It's not so much the menu it's the AMOUNTS. Little dabs ain't doing it! I think I might start to gnaw on my knuckles! And to top all of that off I'm a real ***** to deal with, even I say so let alone what my poor husband must be thinking. I yelled at the dog this morning because he didn't go out side fast enough.... it's wet and rainy and he didn't wanna go! Poor pup, I scolded him and it wasn't really him, it was me and my supreme witchiness. Any ideas on what I can do besides grazing and sniping? Oh yeah, the candy from Christmas found it's way to the table, it's chocolate and STUFF, Such YUMMY STUFF! I only eat one or two... three times a day! Not really but it sure seems like it. Any help? Before I kill hubby for his dinner and the 7 pound dog for not wanting to get wet and cold?????

Gayle, what happens when you go to eat this stuff? Can you eat large amounts? Even if I TRIED to eat that much, I would not be able to do it. Drink, Drink Drink. Lock yourself in your bedroom. Yes, the PMS kills me too. I hate it. I try to get extra protein bars for that time of the month. It sux!--------hang in there,girlie!-----------Joan
Wow - I went through the SAME thing when I was entertaining my Aunt Flo! Yeesh - all I could do is suffer through it and try not to eat everything in sight. Weekends are worst for me since I have more time to think about eating.
I have 3 heads of cauliflower in the fridge that are going to get eaten up this weekend though. I think I'll just get it all cut up and have some cooked and some raw. Time to get on the stick!

Oh, I don't eat it I just want to, to the point that sometimes I go bezerk! I found the cure THIS TIME. It was a slice of pizza. I had them cut the pizza into more slices than normal, ate one with the crust and all and then just the toppings from the second slice. I try to watch my cravings and go for the protien first but it doesn't always work out that way. I know if I ate like I FELT I wanted to I would literally explode. Mostly I just end up suffering and tasting little bits of this and that until I find the one thing that will 'cure' the cravings. Sometimes it's as easy as a cracker but the hard part is FINDING the cure. I may go for a day or two munching until I hit on the cracker thing. I ain't perfect and know that I'm no angel either but I try... I use my horns to keep my halo in place. The cravings are over, thank God but now I'm just waiting for my visit! Fun.
