Help!!! Anyone sharp shooting pains

Hi, I went to the gym today as normal, did my cardio and abs, had a lite lunch and tonight I ate some chicken with a little hot sauce, I have had the hot sauce before, but for some reason ever since I have eaten this food today, I have had sharp really sharp shooting pains in my stomach. My surgery was an open vertical cut and the pain starts below my cut middle of stomach and down just in the front. Is is gas or something else? Anyone else feel this before? Rhen - I don't have any insight for you, but I'm wondering if the pain just happened to occur at the same time as the spicy dinner rather than being because of it? Have you contacted your doc? If it continues, I would recommend doing so. Dina
