I am doing a presentation at the OH National Conference on Recipe Adaptation.
I wanted to make sure that my presentation is on point and that I touch on topics relevant to your needs.
My presentation will discuss how to adapt recipes to your bariatic diet and lifestyle.
What kinds of questions would you have regarding adapting recipes ?
ie: How to make mac and cheese more healthy?
What kinds of spices should I use to zip up the regular old chicken?
What other products are there out there that I can use to "mimic"
ingredients in recipes and cut the fat and carbs down?
How can you add flavor to veggies without using pork?

You have most of what I was thinking!
I love the no calorie butter spray it really cuts the calories!
I think the ability to use herbs and spices correctly is a great subject and how to flavor those veggies!
Maybe the use of splenda in cooking desserts and such.
Using natural peanut butter in cooking in lieu of the regular peanut butter for cookies. (I am craving cookies right now
) might want to leave that one out!

I would just like to see recipes with the nutritional stats included.
Since we do a ton of potlucks at church and whatnot Iam always looking for good recipes that won't "TASTE" like the dreaded diet not fat no taste foods!
