Happy Holidays everyone! My LAN has been on the blink, which toasts my internet access. I have been having withdrawal pains! My family had a really nice holiday. Nothing beats being together! My younger daughter totaled her truck a couple of weeks ago--she fell asleep driving and hit a telephone pole. The blessing is that she was not hurt, and it made us realize how precious life is. I have been off work since Thanksgiving because of the hernia surgery, and loving it! But, alas, I must go back to the salt mine next week. Happy New Year, everyone! Joy

I'm here man, just been lurking more then posting. Working hard at work and play. I hitting the cardio harder then I have been as my PS is now about 6 weeks away. Still can't lift, but for a few lifts that don't hurt my tennis elbow. Wishing you all a wonderful New Year.

Hi Mike, Yup, I am still alive & well, I guess. My computer took a dive for a few days. too much Christmas I guess. Blew out the fan in it, so it would not come on, until I replaced it Only a $30 part Yippee for that. It is usually always 100 or more for me. I am looking forward to saying good-bye to 2005 not a good year for me. Yeah, I am heathier, but financially *& am in the biggest mess of my life & my love-life is pretty much non-existant, So here's hoping 2006 starts off to a great start & I hit the lottery, find a new boyfriend (one that might just like me a little or Love even) & get my life back to some kind of order will make my 2006 a whole lot brighter. Can you tell, I am just a little frustrated. Anyway, Hope you all have a Happy New Year & Don;t let my depressed thoughts bring you down. Love you all Marilyn, the Bearlady

You are always on my mind....hey Mike, I had a thought; how about we celebrate our two-year post surgery anniversary walking the same hallowed halls of Surgical Floor 4 at the hospital? We might even be able to chat with the "newbies" and provide some support, what do you think??? March 8 is right around the corner! I am committing to getting back to my ideal weight of 140 before then! Will keep you all posted, say a prayer for me! Love to all, Maureen

AH.......there is life after Christmas!!! I'm glad that you folks are still here and hope that everyone had a good Christmas. I'd also like to hope that 2006 will be a great year for all of us. Yes, I'm here! It's been crazy. I started the new job, which I love. And I'm eating less so that's a wonderful thing too. My son is in from Atlanta and was here a few days with his friends, so that's always crazy. Now my daughter has friends coming in for a couple of days, it feels like a hotel here.
