The Protein Blues
Well, to be blunt....I got tired of pooping cement once a week. I felt tired and run down and...well....full of poop. I started to eat healthy/normal. Either oatmeal or an egg and dry whole wheat toast for breakfast. Lunch, half a sandwich (turkey, lettuce, tomato on whole wheat with fat free mayo). Dinner, more veggies than protein. I totally cut out the protein bars and shakes. If I get hungry between, I have a low fat granola bar. I drink lots of hot beverages (I can't stand to drink anything cold, it gives me the chills).
Well, I lost 3 pounds and became regular. I'm less tired and not run down at all. Ok guys...give me your spin on this....

This all just goes to prove that we need to train ourselves to obey "The Rules" if we want our bodies to function properly after WLS. I certainly feel and function better when I eat and exercise properly. The hard part, as always, is following through on the knowledge!! It sounds like you've got a plan that works for you......Good luck and keep up the good work. It's always good to hear from you.
