Hi folks. March 1st is just around the corner, marking the first day of celebrations for our 2nd year anniversaries. Can we all commit to sharing where we are at -- the good, the bad, and the ugly of it all -- on our anniversary dates? Let's generate a whole lot of discussion by posting -- on the specific date of your 2-year anniversary -- your thoughts, hopes, dreams, concerns, any and all of it, about your personal journey. I remember like it was yesterday my first tentative, fearful post to this board, about a week before my surgery on March 8, 2004. I heard back from so many people, several of whom are no longer with us -- figuratively and literally...we were newbies then and so overwhelming concerned with losing the weight. Two years later, we are toddling around, bumping into tables and chairs, crying, laughing, and sleeping through one crisis or monumental event after another -- just like any other two-year old! Please plan to post. If you're not where you want to be, that's ok -- let us know. If your goals and expectations have changed as your lives have evolved, let us know. Most importantly, get in touch and talk to us. I can only speak for myself when I say I need you now more than ever... hope to hear from all of you beginning March 1st and right up through the end of March -- Caboose, if you're out there lurking, you would give us a great gift by letting us hear from you! Take care, all. Love to you, Maureen

Great topic, and I will respond , but I want to think about it for a bit and respond in a meaningful way. Besides, I hit my limit of sitting upright for now. More later.

Hmmmm. Like a mine canary, I guess it will be my job to test the waters.... It's been a wild ride. I will do some thinking before Mar 1... Joy

O.K Sounds great I have till the 15th to come up with something interesting however, I started moving today & maybe dead by then as stairs KILLLLLLLLL. Being 140 lbs lighter than I was 2 years ago sure helps, but, being 52 years young I can sure feel it & the legs are going what in the Hell did you do to me today. I no it was good for me, but, not sure if my legs will forgive me, yet. I will be computerless for a few days until the internet gets re-hooked at the new place, but will check in soon. & speaking of caboose, has anyone heard from him. See ya Marilyn, the Bearlady

I'm on board with you on this. I also have been thinking about how our caboose is doing now in the last few days. I know we all would love to hear how he is doing now. Leslie
