Five weeks, final drain out, staples out, funky undies
Hey Ken,
Saw your pics and you look great. Running is going to be such a joy for you when you start up again. One of the reasons I quit running was the flapping arms and belly so I'm looking forward to starting up again in a few months. In the meantime, I'm using one of those ridiculous Tony Little Gazelle's and am actually surprised that I feel sore the next day. My heart rate doesn't get up and I don't get out of breath, but it seems to be working different muscles than I'm used to.
I wonder if I could talk my surgeon into a push up bra. Got no package to push so I'm feeling a little deprived here. I asked the PS when I could have sex and he told me to keep asking him and he'll let me know when it's time. I hope he realizes that I didn't mean with him. LOL
Congratulations on the drain removal. Ten days from now I'll be sportin' my own. Woohoo! That reminds me... a couple of years ago, my sister had her colon removed before Christmas and had drains when she went home. Her three year old son kept asking why she was wearing ornaments. I've decided to have ornaments instead of drains. When I go back to work, I'm wearing them outside my clothes to milk the sympathy.
