Awesome.... I cried the first time I got into size 16. I wish I could say I did as good as you at avoiding the holiday temptations, but I ate some things I shouldn't have. I made my boyfriend take all the leftover pies and candy to work today so I won't have them tempting me anymore. Unfortunately I can eat a little sugar without getting sick. So I'm trying to get back on track eating today. You are doing so good. You should be proud of how well you did during the holidays! Scarlette

Scarlette, That is great. The same thing happened to me. I went to Wal-Mart yesterday and tried on a pair of Lee Jeans - size 16. They fit, so I bought two pairs!. I also know what you mean about the friends and weight loss. I know that many are just afraid to discuss it because it will force them to look at their own need to lose weight. I did good over the holidays and didn't really have anything I shouldn't have. No cookies, cake, pie or candy. Good Luck, Corgimom 306/180/135?

I am so excited. I needed new jeans for jean day at work Friday and I actually got my butt into size 12's. I've only lost like 5 lbs this month and have been very depressed about it, so I don't understand why my clothes have gotten so loose..... very weird. I tried on 6 different styles/brands to make sure they weren't just some freak pair that ran big....lol. They all fit except one pair was too tight. Last xmas I was wearing size 28 (tight). I had to share with you all because you are always so supportive. I've been noticing my close friends aren't that happy for me now that I'm getting to their size or smaller. Has anyone else noticed this with their friends. I really don't brag or say much about my weight loss to them, but they seem a little weird about the whole thing now. They were like my biggest cheerleaders and now they act irritated that I've lost weight. I don't get it. HAVE A GREAT! Scarlette

Topic: RE: Great Mystery of Disappearing Boobs!
I truly understand the idea that co-workers are a good indicator of our everchangeing bodies. You know it is bad when at work, while wearing the required scrubs, one of your co-workers asks what your new size is and you have to tell her you are not sure. She then walked up and pulled on the leg of the scrub pants and they came down to my ankles. Needless to say, we never laughed so hard. Thank God there were no patients around. And then the same day, I bent over to make a guerney and another co-worker commented on the lovely bra I was wearing. We all laughed and for the first time in what seemed like forever, I was able to laugh at myself and thoroughly enjoy it. As far as the disappearing boobs, I don't have a leg to stand on. I have had a bilateral mastectomy due to cancer 18 years ago. Needless to say, when the weight was coming off, the boobs (fake as they are) sort of looked very strange. I ended up having to get a new set(of boobs) about 2 months ago and now at least I "look" normal. Good luck to us all with our ever changing bodies and disappearing parts.
