Topic: RE: Anyone else having bad month?
I started the month at 168, lost to 164, and now back a 168. I don't consider it a bad month, tho, because weight fluctuates. We know that it will go down steadily, it just bounces up sometimes. And I am not eating anything that I shouldn't be eating. Maybe yours would be doing this even without the slight change in your die****er-weight happens. Don't stress if you can help it -- I have no doubt that it will drop off soon, for both of us! Becky

Topic: RE: PREGNANT AFTER ONLY 8 MONTHS?
Well, I don't have any information about pregnancy and WLS, but I want to tell you congratulations! It is going to be a busy year for you: just married, WLS, and baby. Wouldn't it be something if it turned out to be twins? (just kidding!) Becky

Topic: Anyone else having bad month?
Are there any other Marchers out there having a bad month where weight loss is concerned? I can't seem to lose a pound. I've gone up and down since Thanksgiving. I have noticed that I've been snacking a bit lately. A few peanut butter crackers and popcorn that I shouldn't be having. I will also admit that I've been having a diet pepsi now and then. Got to get back on track and drink tha****er and cut out the extra carbs. Good Luck corgimom

Topic: PREGNANT AFTER ONLY 8 MONTHS?
Hey everyone. Well! I had the surgery on March 29th of 05. I am down to 233 from 330. I married my husband on October 15th. Took a pregnancy test today and its positive. I have a Dr's appt with my obgyn tomorrow night at 7pm. I have to say I have very mixed feelings about this. We are always very careful. But I know no birth control is 100 % BUT wow! We were together 12 years without ay problems. GOD WORKS IN MYSTERIUOS (?) WAYS HUH? My husband AND I are very excited and no matter what we are keeping this child. But have the normal concerns about the surgery and its affects on kids this soon. Anyone have any insight on this? Anyone know of anyone having a child this soon? Any and all responces are welcome. Thanks Darlene

that sounds exactly like a gallbladder attack, i had mine out when i was about 3 months out and had very similar symptoms. it's common to have attacks after eating greasy foods, and gas is also a symptom.

Topic: RE: clothing size vs. weight
Wait, Michelle.... You are 5 inches taller than I am and you weigh 5 pounds less than I do, yet you are one size larger in the pants than I am? I think that we are shopping in different places!! Are you in Europe by any chance? American sizes run larger than the rest of the world! The other thing it could be is the store and style of cut you are buying. The LandsEnd type clothes tend to be for a more lean figure, for iinstance. Just fyi and for comparison, my recent size 14 jeans are regular cut Levi's. My frame is little/petite. This post really does show that "regular" women are of all SORTS of sizes and shapes and fits and cuts, the combinations seem almost endless! If only the fashion and beauty industries and advertizers would get that into their heads! Maybe most women wouldn't hate their bodies as much as they do! ~Jojo

I'm a LapBand so my weight loss is not as dramatic as you guys. You make me jealous is some ways! Anyway, I am 5'2" and recently bought a regular size 14 jeans which fit loosely. My shirts are medium/large. I did buy a size 10 jacket that looks fabulous, though! I am somewhere between an hour glass and apple shape. I have a waist, but my belly(abdominal) tends to be big. I also noticed that I lost more than I cared to in my butt-- the tail bone pokes out and is very uncomfortable to sit in some seats! While the fat on my belly lingers! I am in a 38B bra, and holding. Slightly deflated looking. ~Jojo
