Yes I can definitely say that i agree with you on certain matters but unfortunately for me my sex drives has left me. Lately maybe for the past 6-8 weeks i have not a had a sex drive. But when i do try to get in the mood and we do have sex i can definitely feel him more, and to me it is becoming painful so it is making me not enjoy having sex. When i first started losing the weight like in my 2-4 months and i only lost about 30-50lbs my sex drive was sky high and we did it like 3-4 times a day now that i have lost over 124lbs my sex drives has went to hell. I am hating it. I am going to see my GYN on Teus. to discuss some of this with her hopefully she can give me some advice. Because it could be a combination of the wieghtloss, me taking my birth control pills, and me having a poor body image since the weightloss, so hopefully i can work this out. Did you ever have any point when you did not desire sex, and if you did what did you do. Thank GOD someone is enjopying sex!!!! Tyshea 315/189/150

Hi.... I had an okay week I guess, but could have done more. I went to the gym 3 times and spent 1 hour 20 minutes there each time for a total of 4 hours. Then I also walked home from work twice about 30 minutes each time. So I guess my grand total is 5 hours. Correct me if my math is wrong I've had the hair day from hell today. Scarlette

Okay, It has been one week since our exercise challenge. What are your totals for the week. I'm afraid I didn't do very good this first week out. Only 2 hours for me. I just don't seem to like to exercise much during the week. On weekends no problem but when I come home from work I just don't feel like it. No excuse. I should try doing my exercise in the morning. Anyway, How has everyone else done? corgimom

Topic: Sex....:)
Well, my hubby and I always had a pretty healthy sex life. After my daughter was born and I gained that extra 30 pounds I just didn't always feel like it. Well after surgery I noticed I was getting back my sex drive and I "feel" like it alot more often than I did. Now I am noticing a difference in my hubby. He has never been real affectionate. He will hold my hand some, hug me some, kiss me some, but never really been a touchy person. Here lately he is always hugging me, wanting to hold my hand, touching my face. (He just came in here and read this so now I am blushing!) He is just more affectionate. He always wants "lovings" more often too. The perv actually installed mirrors over our bed yesterday while I was gone to the new Harry Potter movie with our son! Can u believe that? In regards to the weight loss and sex, I am feeling more bones than I used too. By bones I mean, I can feel him, well, I don't mean this in a bad or nasty way but I he kind of smashes me more than he used too in certain positions. Any one else notice their partners wanting it more or just being more affectionate? Adam is also becoming somewhat insecure. We have never really be jealous of one another but he is kind of starting to be pretty jealous. I hope he gets over that. I love him, I want him. I will always love him. No matter how much weight I lose he is my husband and the one I love. God gave him to me and I won't disrespect our marriage vows or him by flirting or screwing around with someone else. Anyway, point of my post, sex for me post op is incredible! The new HP movie was great too! Hugs Angela 313-195-150? -118

Hello Janice; I don't know if it is your age or not. I will be 51 next month. I think that the reason I am taking it off slow is because of not really exercising. Do you exercise? I started out at 293 and am down to 192.

I'm sorry to hear about your husbands problems. Just remember it will all be worth it in a few months. On the other hand, congratulations on your fantastic weight loss. You are doing great! Scarlette

Hi Margie I'm horrible at computer stuff so I'm not sure how to post a link, but several of the members have it here on their profile. I lost another 2 lbs, so I'm thinking it works because that is 4 lbs in 5 days and I had been stuck at 195.5 for weeks. I can tell you the basics. You need to get 45-60 grams of protein from supplements per day. I do shakes. You can eat 3 oz all lean meats such as beef, chicken, fish, etc..., lowfat cheeses, and nuts up to 5 times a day. (I can't eat that much) You have to drink tons of water and exercise everyday. Basically your cutting out carbs and sugars and getting tons of protein. If you post on the main board looking for the plateau buster diet I'm sure someone could hook you up with the specifics. Good luck! Scarlette
