Topic: New pics on profile
I posted some newer pics of me on my profile page. They are of me down 112 pounds to 201. I was going to wait until I got below 200 but I am impatient and I recently decided I actually like having my pics taken now. Which is very weird, I used to hate having my pic taken. Well, I can finally see a little difference in myself. There is also a pic of my niece Bailey who is 8 months old now, my daughter Allison in her Halloween outfit, me and Adam my hubby and my weight loss sister Armilda Williams.
Let me know what u think if u have time to go take a peek at them. I am just not getting the hang of this photobucket thing, lol.

Topic: RE: Yummy!
I use a wire whisk to beat mine, it doesn't clump at all. I heat my water in a 8 oz glass for 2 mins, then I pour that in a bowl to mix, I add 1 teaspoon of coffee, 2-3 teaspoons of splenda, mix it. Then I add 1 scoop of protien. I mix with a wire wisk and have no problems at all. Now, the other day I was gone all day out traveling and I took my coffee, splenda, protein with me. I got some ho****er out of a coffee machine at a gas station, and it didn't mix well at all. I had to stir it every time I wanted a drink because of the clumps. I was mixing it all together in a styrofoam cup instead of a bowl and without my wisk. I would say u could heat the skim milk, then add the protein. That sounds pretty yummy too. I do know its nasty if u heat the protein in it. It smells awful and taste awful. Heat what u want it in first then add the protein. Good luck!

Topic: RE: do you drink a beverage with your meal
on rare occasions (when it's something overly dry, spicy, or salty) i will sip a little--maybe a tablespoon--when i'm finished, but generally i wait an hour to drink after i eat. i have had a couple of instances where i ate something that made me incredibly nauseous and rather than throw up, i'll chug some water and purposefully wa**** out, but it was just a snack and something i knew would make me sick but i ate it anyway. in fact, i think the only times i really break the rules are with snacks and i need to stop that.

I tried this but my protien (which is the same kind you get) doesnt seem to mix really well. I seem to have some clumping. Does your protien mix up really well? I use coffee out of a machine at work. Does anyone know if you can mix it with skim milk and heat for like a hot chocolate?

No, I try not to ever do it. However, I only wait about 1/2 an hour, rather than an hour if I'm really thirsty.

Mixed emotions emanating from the Delaware Valley this morning:
The Eagles lost
but the SEPTA transit strike is over!
I've pretty well known this for some time, but our home scale is off. Stepping on scales at various doctor's offici had me anywhere between 205 and 215. BUT, I'm clothed and fed in all those cases, whereas I am usually neither when I weigh myself at home. (yeah, yeah, I know: TMI)
When Dad moved down last week, a scale (dusty and seldom used) came with him and I've been using it for the past few days. Appears this one is more accurate, so I am now officially at 205.
This is neither to be considered a setback nor a disappointment, but merely a shift in data. Fact is, the original timeline has me reaching below 200 lbs right about New Year's and that's more than okay.
Just have to lace up my walking shoes, get out the Total Gym and have at it again, is all!
