Genny,
You sound like me- I have gone back and forth with the same few pounds for a few weeks now, I seem to lose a pound about once a week but then it comes back (ie week before last lowest weight 227 highest 232, then last week lowedt 226 highest 231 then this week lowest 225 highest 229) Driving me insane but once I see the lower number, I claim it!!
Hope you have a better day tommorrow !!

Glad to know that I'm not alone! I've been at the same weight loss for two weeks! I've been at 80 lbs. and it's driving me nuts! I'm now wearing a size 16, and wishing I was still in a smaller size!! Although, my boobs are the funny part... down from a 42C to a 36B... LOL!
Let's keep going, girls... WE CAN DO IT!!!!!

Argh! I have been bouncing from 235-240 for the past 2 months! It's driving me utterly bonkers, I tell you. I was 241 on Friday.....This morning...236 and I had a bad weekend....a lot of grazing due to a Halloween party we had and my inability to behave, I guess.
And I have been exercising! worked my butt off all week getting my friends house cleaned and decorated (shes pregnant, and did way more then she should have, anyway). I jogged last week on weds....nearly died from that on thursday when my legs (shins to thighs) woke me up...might I add that I didn't even think there were muscles in your shins? lol....I know better now
. We went to the park yesterday and spent 1 hour climbing rocks in the stream with the dog....
Again, Argh. Hopefully this will break soon!
Thanks for letting me vent
.

Topic: RE: Exercise... Who does it?
I have exersiced from the beginning, when I started by walking a few blocks. I am up to a walk/jog 4-5 miles every other day and one long walk/jog on Saturdays (11 miles this past Saturday). I am training for the Houston Marathon in January. I love walking/jogging. My weightloss has gone well, except for this month, which is at about 4 lbs. However, I did drop another size this month. Exercising helps me not obsess about the scale as much. (Although, I still have days that I obsess.)

Of course you are not alone--we are right there with you---I think we hit these together alot--which helps--mentally anyway---cause we know that scale will move again---I just finished an almost 2 week stent at the same weight---and yes--i got really down(whats new) but then lost two lbs over the weekend--so I hope it has started up again! We can all keep it going----!
BEst wishes!

Isn't that fun! You do look great!
I overheard one of my customers tell his friend I was a fox the other day. I didn't know anyone said fox anymore, but I'll take it.
Keep up the good work! Scarlette

Hi Donna!! You and I are almost surgery sisters!! My surgery was on the 15th!!
Ive slowed my weight loss down alot too but hey , if its 5 or 6 lbs a month down and not up.. I will take it!! I have been dropping 2 lbs and then those 2 will go up and down for around a week..then the scale will steady for a couple of days and then I usually drop another 2..Seems to be the way its been going the last couple months!!
It will start dropping off again!! Your funs not over yet!!
Congrats on what you have accomplished so far!!!

Topic: RE: Exercise... Who does it?
I was bad and didn't exercise much the first 4 months. I joined a gym a couple monthes ago and I love it now. I go 3-4 times a week. I do cardio and weight training. I love the weight training because I lose fat and not muscle. I was scared to exercise because everyone said it slows weight loss, but I only stalled the first few weeks of exercising and now I am losing again. Also my body shape is really toning up now and even though I have extra skin that exercise won't get rid of I look better because of the muscle tone. Good luck! Scarlette

Hi Patty....
It is funny how easy it is to forget we've lost weight. I manage a Big and Tall clothing store and a lady came in the other day to get a sweater. She looked to be about 300 lbs or close to my pre-surgery weight. She didn't want to try it on and me not thinking I said " well 3x should fit you because thats the size I would buy" and I held it up to me.....
She looked at me like I was crazy and said "you are not even close to my size and you would wear a 3x?" Then I realized I had stuck my foot in my mouth because I sometimes forget I'm smaller now. I felt so dumb.
Congratulations on your weight loss.
This surgery is so awesome!
Scarlette
