Topic: RE: Got the Look
right on! I'm glad someone's getting the loo****ep waiting to get the look, if you know what I mean. I haven't looked this good since I was a teenager and I can't even get my husband to look at me let alone anyone else. I'm beginning to think that maybe men saw me more attractive when I was real fat! :yuck: Anyways, I'm glad it's at least happening to you. Deborah W.

Topic: update..upcoming surgery
Well it's been a bit since I posted but thought I would pop in and give you an update. I am almost 8 months out and down 130 lbs. I haven't had any complications from the WLS. I would do it again in a heart beat. I have suffered what is called vaginal prolapse. I posted about it awhile back. I went to see the surgeon that my GYN recommended and he ran TONS of tests (most were really embarrassing ). I have a level 3 prolapse level 4 being the worst. The good news is that my bladder, bowel and uterus are all still intack and the muscles there are strong but if I do not repair the damage that is already done they can follow suit and colapse. So on Nov. 8th I am going to have it repaired. I have anterior and posterior collapse. He says that it is like a tummy tuck just in the prolapsed area. They go in find the damaged area and repair it. He said I will have lots and lots of stitched and will not be able to lift over 10 lbs for at least 3 months. This is a very personal matter and not fun to post about but I want to make other ladies aware of this condition. If you think you have it then get it looked at before real damage is done. I made everyone laugh when I posted about it the first time because it was a good way to make everyone aware of it without being depressing. I have learned that it can be ore serious than I thought and it can cause serious problems so please take care of yourselves!! Take care. Jeannie 315-185->155
