First of all let me say, "congratulations to you too, 85 pounds is a great accomplishment". I am 5"8, and 39 years old. My doctor and nutritionist said that 150 is the ideal weight for my height and age, and puts my BMI within a normal range.
Topic: My WOW moment!!
Ok now for my wow moment!! I went to JC Penneys this weekend and tried on some clothes. I am wearing a 14 so I grabbed a pair of Levis that all the youngins are wearing..the ones that are low waisted,, in a 14. I put them on and they were too big!! How exciting!! I went and got a 12 and low and behold...they fit!! They were that stretch stuff that they are making everything out of now..but hey thats ok..They were a 12!!! I just have to get used to the low waist,, but of course I had to buy them!!! lol!!!
I also dropped 2 more lbs this weekend for a total of 82 lbs down and a weight of 188!!! yippee!!! 
This journey is soooo much fun and exciting!!!

Congratulations Hope!! I started at 270 also and have lost 82 lbs. My personal goal is 170. I am 5'6". How tall are you?

My goal was 150 pounds and as of yesterday I have reached that goal. I started my journey at 270 pounds and wearing a size 24, I'm now in a size 8-10. For a grand total of 120 pounds lost and still losing. I feel healthy and energized and I have no regrets. I think God for giving me the courage to go through with the surgery, surviving it and giving my surgeon the gift to perform the surgery.
