Topic: RE: How much should I be eating?
The Smart Ones meals are usually about the right size but you might want to check with your nutritionist and/or doctor. The best bet is to follow the diet guidelines from the surgeon and nutritionist.
Topic: RE: pouch hurting what do i do?
Pain and vometing after eating is usually an indication that something is wrong. Please call your surgeon ASAP and have it checked out.
There are a lot of things that could be going on, gallbladder trouble, small bowel obstruction, ulcers, etc... please have it checked by your doctor.

Hey Greg,
Looking Good!! You look like a different person. I also need to kick up the exercise. I do good on the weekends but not so good during the week. It definitely makes a difference.

Thanks, hon! You're looking great, as well. I read your latest profile posting. Get walking! Every time I stop walking, I stop losing. I've been stuck around 204-205 for a week or so, so I walked about 2.5 miles before I got ready for work today. There's a good bet I could be down a lb tomorrow.
We're all at a stage when it's going to be a grind from now on. Exercise could be the deal-maker.
Good luck!

I am so excited for you. That is my next big goal, to see 199. It will be awhile yet, 23 lbs to go. I started at 340 so I'm doing fine but my gosh what a milestone that is. I too am already planning my own version of the happy dance. Good luck to you.
Topic: RE: HELP I"M STUCK
As with everyone else replying I am in a slump too. I haven't lost for almost two weeks. I was a open distal rny. I have lost 117 lbs. in six months. I knew it would slow down but part of me is in a panic. I like the idea of going back to liquids for a few days and walking more to kick start the bod again. I hope it works. I know I'm supposed to exercise more but going from barely able to walk a few feet to walking anywhere I want to go, for as long as I want to go, is quite an improvement. I will take on running and organized workouts later. Much later. I hate organized anything physical. Maybe I will get over that someday. but I digress. My point is you are not alone. I understand there will be plateaus. We will get thru them together. Just think about everything we have gained in our lives so far. I have actually reached the goals I had set for myself. Better health, better movement, I CAN PLAY WITH MY GRANDCHILDREN! I can get off the floor, without a crane. I can clean my house and go shopping. I can do more than hold down my recliner at night. I bet you can too if you think about it. Do what you can to kick start yoursef and the weight loss but don't forget what you've gained by being a big loser. Yeah us!!!! Carolyn
