I understand what you are going through completely. I am getting so sick of the constant up and down of the scales. I am starting to worry I won't get to my goal and it scares the crap out of me. Thanks for the post it was nice to hear I'm not alone in this misery. Scarlette

I have decided to go on a liquid protein diet and see what happens...who knows. I too dont feel like no failure but I dont feel complete either so distressing. We can beat this yall--we must! Thanks for the response, Eileen ... sorry I didn't get back on here to answer sooner. I did go to my doctor's appointment and he showed me the last scope photos, pointing out the embedded cranky suture, all the ulceration around it and a stray end of the suture that was just trailing off down into my intestine (he cut that away and removed as much as he could during the procedure, but he said it wanted to bleed alot, so he wasn't able to get it really resolved****rtainly better understand (after some hasty drawings on his part) exactly where this is, and how it's affecting things. His answer for me yesterday was we'd continue the Nexium therapy and rescope in two more weeks, with an esophageal biopsy at that time, too. In meantime, I get to have gallbladder studies done for some GERD-like symptoms I'm having (Oh joy!! LOL). Thus far, I'm able to eat. I've noticed denser foods make me feel uncomfortable, so I've been keeping things pretty soft, and warm food (not hot) feels better than cold, go figure on that one LOL. Like you I'm not a smoker, and my BS seems to want to blame this entirely on this balled up mass of suture. (He's not my original surgeon, I had my surgery in St. Louis and switched to this doctor three weeks post-op). Thanks so much for all the information you've given me... I appreciate your help! Myra

Hi all, I've been plateaud about the same time period as the rest of you. I got serious again abou****ching carbs, excersise, food journal etc. and lost two lbs in a week. That sucks, but then again found out about the pregnancy so I guess for now I will just worry about not gaining way to much. Concentrate more on nutrition.

Way to go Angel!! You look absolutely darling!! Great job and keep working your tool. When checking out your profile, I noticed that you enjoy theatre. Me and my daughter are heading out next Saturday to see CATS. We are both so excited and can't believe that we are actually going to it. I'm not even scared that the seats will be too tight. Nice feeling. TraciL

I have been tired lately but my iron levels are dropping. Are the 2 related at all? I take a good sub-lingual myself and test just fine but still feel tired. Any ideas?

Topic: RE: B-12 nasal spray???
Good news for you.... that spray may be very expensive but there is a great alternative. Vitamin World sells a B-complex liquid sublingual. It test extrodinarily well in labs. Visit there website ad order online. It is fairly inexpensive and will do the same thing as the nasal spray and taste is okay. I was struggling and then my surgeon switched me. Is is so good that he told me to reduce how much I was taking. (Double what the bottle says- it will boost your energy). Good luck!
