I had brachioplasty (arm lift) and a breast reduction on November 2, 2007. Insurance didn't cover a penny. More details are on my profile. I'm happy with the results overall. It's not a fun process but certainly manageable and worth doing! Stephanie

Hi Trish. Thanks for saying hello. I'm sure this is a very exciting time. Teenagers can test even the sanest person's limits! It does get better! Keep on staying healthy for that bambino! Hugs, Stephanie

hey lady! glad to hear all is going well! i guess since it's been so long I should checkin as well...not much has changed here...my boys are all doing good..i've been fighting the school system to get what my youngest needs and so far I've been winning the war..maybe not every battle but at least the war! My oldest just got invited to the presidential inaguration next jan...chance of a life time...crazy girl says she doesn't want to go she'd rather us spend the money on her a senior trip to france with the school. I am hanging in there....still haivng lots of probelms with the adema in my right leg...sad thing is even if I EVER get plastic surgery for a lower body lift...I'll still have a HUGE right leg...at least when I was fat I was fat all over now i'm just fat in one leg LOL! Oh well it could be worse...at least i don't have a problem with high blood pressure, asthma and my blood sugar is pretty much under control...pretty good trade if you ask me! i think of you guys often even if I don't post as much as I use to. BTW thank you for the lovely easter card...soon to be mama-of-4 in Philly Mimi

I had anchor cut TT on 9/27/07. Insurance didn't pay. But it was worth the $9,241.00. The PS removed 11.5#. I fit so much better in clothing now. Pics are on my profile. Ask me any questions. Belinda

I am starting my plastic surgery journey. I was wondering who has had it? What they had done? Was anything covered with insurance? Stories, details. Any information is greatly appreciated!!!!

Way to go on those fantastic 2-year post op results! You go girl! It sounds like you're following the rules and feeling good. I never did have tons of energy so I can relate to that. I don't know if it is because I cram more into each day or if there is something medical that has increased my fatigue. I don't remember seeing the post about metabolic menu. If you still have the link, could you send it my way? It was great to see you on the 15th! You look great and I'm so glad you're one of my MARCHer friends! Hugs, Stephanie

Jannine, I hope you and the family are feeling better. It sounds like you have a lot on your plate (pun intended). Please do make your two year checkup appointment. I know it is a pain to go to one more doctor, but we all want you to be reassured you are in good physical health so that you can continue to take care of yourself and your family. Take care, Rick

Heather, It always amazes me when a "lurker" checks in. I guess there really are people out there in the shadows. I'm so glad you stopped by. I think we all have things we struggle with along our journey. The head issues are harder for me to deal with then the physical aspects of this surgery. I guess we all do our best to work through them. It does help to talk to others that share your expierences. This is a unique path we have chosen and I'm glad we are here for each other. Take care, Rick

Hi, It sounds like you are doing great. I'm glad you are back on your feet again (pun intended). I also miss our special group of "Marcher's". I hope people will continue to check in and let us know of their progress and their struggles. I have my 2 year checkup in a couple of weeks. I am curious to see how my blood work looks. I don't expect any problems but it hasn't been checked for a year. I am a strong believer in taking my vitamins. I really don't want something bad to sneak up on me and have it be to late to make changes. My addiction is more with peanuts than with anything else, but it's one I can live with. Take care and thanks for the update, Rick
