How tall are you Suzanne? Is you BMI o.k.? Sometimes I think people who know you, feel you are too thin but if you look around, you may see many others who are as thin and they look o.k. because now one saw them or knew them when they were overweight. Depends on bone structure, height and how you feel I guess. What does you surgeon say? Julia

I'm not sure of the inches but I have gone from a size 5X down to a size 12

Me? I can't seem to quit losing! I am starting to get a bit worried about it as my family and friends have all commented that I am getting frightfully thin after this last 10-lbs went. I have lost a total of 190-lbs (gone from 324 to now 134) since surgery...I think I look great but I get worried comments all the time. What would y'all do in my case? Worry about it or just "go with it" ?

Here is the plateau buster, I havent tried it but I know people that have and it helped them. Hope this helps you.

How to break a plateau
#1 - Do this for 10 days to break a plateau
#2 - Drink 2 quarts of water a day
#3 - You must have 45 grams of protein supplement and all your vitamins/minerals supplements each day
#4 - You may consume up to 3 oz of high protein foods, 5x a day
beef
pork
chicken
turkey
lamb
fish/shrimp/crab
eggs
low fat cheese
cottage cheese
plain yogurt or artificially sweetened (?)
peanut butter
beans/legumes
You may also have:
sugar free popsicles
tea or coffee
sugar free soda
sugar free jello
broths/bullion
crystal light drinks
#5 - If it's not on the list, you can't have it for 10 days!!!!
#6 - Keep a food diary and try to get up to 30 mins of exercise daily

I would like you to send me your platue buster. I have been gaining weight and think I have gotten off track. I know we are to get in protien and water. I just need to get motivated. any help would be appreciated. I was only a few pounds from my dr.'s goal and now i'm 15.

Brenda, my nut told me that I need 1200 to 1500 calories a day. No more than 60 to 70 carbs, (of any kind) and at least 70 to 100 protein. With your exercising, this should work for you.
Try keeping a journal for a couple of weeks and see if this helps. Make sure you are getting your water in too. You may not be getting enough calories in.
I have a plateau buster if you would like me to send it to you.

Same here. So I met with my nut and I was eating too many calories - around 1600 per day. I had no clue I was eating this much but was eating "melting carbs". That's what we call chips, crackers, etc. any carb that is crunchy and basically dissolves in your mouth. They are so good but are basically empty cals per my nut. So, she put me back on 1000 cal/day and added 2 protein supplements again (need to be included in my 1000).
I've started weights about a month ago too and have lost 10 pounds the past month. I did not lose anything in the 2 months prior.

Feel the same way nothing this month at all but the month is not over yet lol when I pms I loose 2 lbs that is the only way I seem to loose now when it is that time lol so in a way I am glad to see it come but I do eat white carbs I need to stop but I love chips I got to stop some one smack me lol
