I was busy as usual. I've been working on some training tapes for work so I did that all weekend. Other than that, I had a pretty nice stressfree weekend. I am so glad that for a change I could just kick it.
I hope things work out with the school and your daughter. Sounds like you had a very busy weekend and need a break.

my husband got a bug and decided to buy a new video camera and then to convert all of our old videos from the last 10 years to digital and make DVD's
Bless his Heart.
(for those of you TRUE southern'ers... you know...)
he was shocked at just how big I was now that he has completely forgotten. ;)
I personally could have done without them, and fortunately I am 90% behind the camera, so there is very little footage of my gi-normous derrière.
now I am still in the process of scanning and digitally archiving all my film still images from the past, what a depressing process.
there is a reason that I was always behind the camera.

Hi Ruth,
My weekend went as usual....too fast and got nothing done! We went to court for the kids last week, but nothing became of it....they were too involved in the case where my son owes back child support!! So it was a waste of time! Now we go back AGAIN the 12th of December! So the mom does not make any effort on the weekends to come and get the kids so I do as much as you can with a 20 month running around making messes all the time!! Should be good exercise, but just wears me out and i am tired all the time,I just want to sleep..... We added an extra hour to out ime over the weekend, time change, turned the clocks back an hour, didn't help me any though!!
Been really doing bad on my weight this weekend! I did really good last week and got down to where I was when I got sick the one time....but then with all the stress of the kids,money,etc....My poor cat got bit and had to take him to the vet...$194.00!!!! Still am not getting any help with paying the sitters for the kids,am about to quit my job and stay home!!
But....my depressing story...maybe will be good someday!!

with my current situation, work is #1 until January 1. and since I work from home, all my clients come in daily and so that part I am used to. every morning I go through and clean up and get ready for the day.
but we will not be putting the house on the market until January 1, and then it will be the priority. so other than de-cluttering the stuff that we do not want, and putting that in the garage, we are not doing anything but keeping it clean for now.
we are watching the norway housing market and the inflation will be insane, but we are slowly getting use to it.

Hi all
how was your weekend? Mine was a mixture of extreme stress and enjoyment. I had a meeting at school re my daughter which was horrendous, and stressful, then I was up at the school all Saturday and Sunday - organising a fundraising fireworks display with refreshments stalls etc. and clearing up the next day.
Tired today and now have to pick up the mess left from the meeting on Friday, but oh well, life as a parent I guess...
This week I plan to try and de-stress and eat right (
step away from the left over halloween candy)

Do you have things organised for your new home yet? Is it Norway you are moving to?
I hate selling - having strangers wandering through my home. And I, like you am a perfectionist and assume the things I see is what eveyrone else sees - it's very stressful trying to be a 'show home' constantly isnt' it.
Hope it goes smoothly for you and not too stressful.

Awwww Andi
How sad. For you and for the deer. Are you okay? It can be a pretty traumatic thing to hit an animal. Up north in Yukon when someone hit a caribou, it often meant that everyone was killed, I hope that you are physically well.

I am. I am trying to be 'upbeat' with my current clients, but know that my days are numbered and that is hard to do. no one wants to make a long term commitment with someone that will not 'be there' in 6 months to a year.
this house has so many issues, but I have to keep telling myself, it is a starter house and so there are many that do not want to expense of a 'new house' and so they are not expecting as much. but I am a perfectionist and so it bugs me when I do a daily walk through and know that there are so many things that need to be 'done'
7 months to go.
