Hi Starr

I'm looking forward to getting to know you

Good to see you again Heather, sorry to hear you've been unwell again. Guess they are still trying to figure out your meds for you?
yes, it worked for me. I lost 5 pounds on it, and although when I returned to 'normal eating I gained 2 back on, my appitite has been vastly reduced and my pouch definitely can only fit in much less, and as of this morning I've dropped pounds again, so have lost the 2lbs I gained back and lost 3 more
Although I still crave carbs just as much it has helped me make better choices to snack on this week.
Just one warning though - it did make me feel extremely tired and one night i went to bed at 8.30pm and slept solid til 9am the next day. Day 3 I felt very rough, but day 4 & 5 felt fantastic and full of energy.
Next time I think I@ll just do 2 days of clear fluids and protein shakes

Topic: RE: a Donut??
Weeeeelllllllllllllllllll, it may be worth it for one doughnut
but maybe not as a long term exercise regieme (sp?)
Guess your doc didn't rate it too highly then. How did the check up go anyay with your doc? Was he pleased with yoru progress?

Topic: a Donut??
I went to my Dr. last night and he asked how I was doing with my exercising. I told him I was thinking of joining Curves, but my world kind of got turned around with my new family! Anyway.......he told me that their routine is that you only burn 180 calories....thats 1 donut!! So guess you can eat 1 donut and run to Curves and exercise it off!!
!!

Hey Ruth,
I know its not the speed that counts, just glad that the 91 pounds are gone!! Was bummed yesterday, went to my 6 month checkup and had gained 4 pounds!!! made me
at myself!!
But I had lost the weight when I was sick and went to him for some meds....everyone said I would probably gain some back and it was true!! I was thinking about it on the way home, though, that I only need to lose 10 more and I will hit 100 lbs!!
So that sounded good... just need to exercise more, have been walking, need to do more!!

Topic: late start to 5 day plan :help:
Hi all,
I've been away for a while due to some significant health problems due to medication adjustments post-bypass. Some meds seem to pass right through and others go straight to my brain and intoxicate me to the point where I'm totally disinhibited about what I eat. I've had difficulty working at all, and since I have a demanding job, this has been a nightmare. I've been basically bedridden for months and working from bed, which has not allowed me to exercise regularly and thus I've regained some weight. I feel very depressed about this.
Anyhoo...I'm just returning to the message board. I'm going to try the 5 day plan. Did it work for any of you?
Much encouragement appreciated!!!!!!
THanks,
Heather

Bobbie -
Its been awhile since I've been online, due to health problems. I totally didn't recognize you from 2 months ago. You look fantastic!
I've lost 114 pounds, regained 30 (due to disinhibiting effects of medications - I ate things I shouldn't have, was intoxicated by the effects of the meds), since re-lost 11, so I have lost ~95 pounds at this point.
