Good luck if you do the protein shakes for the weekend. Once I'm through this I may do the odd weekend of shakes when I need that extra push again.
Oh that cinnamon muffin sounds soooooo good - and after all your son did bake it.....

That's great you are maintaining - I think that must be just as hard as losing at times - it's a new concept to us all isnt' it. You are doing really well at it.

It's amazing how cutting back on junk & stress eating makes a difference isn't it. Glad you don't have the stress now though.
Maybe your body is doing an adjustment thing where it redistriutes the fat around and it's decided to move away from your fingers? Notice anywhere else adjusting?
How is you baby grandson doing - I bet he is just gorgeous and getting spoild by Granny

I have cut drastically back on the junk food and the stress eating, now that my daughter and grand son are all moved in, and so forth. back down to 143.5... I am happy but for some reason, even with the weight loss. my rings do not fit this week. very strange.

Yay it's day 5 for me
For breakfast I had a shake again, I just didn't feel too hungry. For lunch I had chicken and cheese rolled up together, it was so good! lol I am presently thinking of what to have for dinner, and I plan on having at least another shake. I'm glad I got back on the shakes, I had forgotten how much they help me.
Way to go on the 4 pounds Ruth that's awesome! I think chilli is a great idea...lots of protein and way yummy! Only a few days left for you, YAY! I hope you're feeling better really soon.

I don't blame you about doing your follow ups with your primary doctor. He can do the same blood work the surgeon does and refer you back if there is a problem. I was thinking about why the surgeon wants to keep seeing patients and all I can come up with is that they want their statistics. You probably should be doing your yearly check ups w/ the primary because that is the person you see most often. I don't blame you I could think of a lot of other, much more enjoyable ways, to spend that money. Good Luck
