A bit late, but here it is... This Week: 169 I stayed the same as last week - have been around between 169 and 174 like crazy since May grrrrrr. BUT the good news is that it does come back down after going up, so I'm taking that as a positive. Have a good one guys

Hi everyone How has my week gone - well, if you'd asked me that before wls I would have said terrible, but you know what, even though the week has been tough, I have made mostly good choices food wise, and emotions wise (didn't let cir****tances rule my emotions or eating - mostly!), so my week has been good I agree it's been a long week, but the weekend is here so we can celebrate (and Trish that doesn't mean you can go out for a drink )

YAY We love people joining us here. Welcome Jess! Look forward to getting to know you Had a quick read of your profile - you've done great - well done! Hope you are proud of yourself. Sorry you went through a rough patch - rough patches seems to be what we specialise in on this board as we all seem to have them in one form or another!! But we all help and support each other so we can get through the tough times so stick around and we can enjoy the times, and help in the times... together.

Hello one and all! Well the work week is coming to a close AMEN! It hasn't been a difficult week it's just been a long one. Tonight is Yom Kippur, that's the jewish day of atonement, it's where you ask G*D for forgiveness for your sins and ask him to write you into the book of life for one more day. I've started cooking and baking and the house already smells delicious! We will be fasting from 7:00pm tonight to 6:00pm tomorrow, it's supposed to be a 26 hour fast but no one can last that long. I figure G*D will have to understand being short changed (3) hours and I do enough good deeds that i think it equals out eventually, but who knows. How has your week gone? I'm not interested in what the scale said I'm interested in how you are feeling and what's been going on. The scale can lie and cheat us but how we feel remains the key to our good health: physically, emotionally and spiritually. I feel that this week has been a turning point for me. I have gone back to basics and while I am not strict i do feel better and my clothes fit better and that's what counts. I think it's easier to reign in the eating when you gain two or three pounds then it is when you are up more significant weights. I have managed to get in my proper fluids all week long AND to remember my vitamins and supplements for most days (sorry about Thursday i was a crazy person, i woke up late and was behind the 8 ball all day) What are your plans for the weekend? I have to go hear a dj on Sunday for my sons bar mitzah, I hope this one ends up being a winner because i'm exhausted from looking at losers. ANDI

Hey Trish! I guess my body and I have an agreement, i won't look at it too critically and it'll keep on working well! These breasts have nursed (3) kids they've had gallons of tears shed into them and have lost some critical weight: they aren't going to be young and perky anymore, in a good bra they look rather nice. This gut of mine has carried around (4) children; my pregnancy has nourished them until their time was up and they had to leave, i'm not going to have rock hard abs but i will have the pleasure of being called mom .... sometimes unrelentlessly but it is what it is. In a good pair of Spanx or the knock off brand Assets from Target my belly will look mildy rounded and not bloated fish guts big! I like to middle eastern dance, a woman is considered beautiful and womanly with bigger hips and a lush tush, GOT IT! I'll have surgery on the parts that are making me crazy and I'm going to ignore the rest. Keep it in perspective. ANDI

Has anyone else expierenced a shift in your body...it seems that my body is changing for the WORST! Call me crazy but everything is moving to my stomach area. It seems as all my leftover skin and fat is just graviting there. As a fat girl I was pretty well proportioned and lost the weight and remained pretty proportioned but now it seems as though my stomach area is so much bigger, looser and more saggy than the rest. Remember, I exercise 4 days a week with a trainer and remain pretty active...I have mentioned this to them and they just say sometimes that happens. Yuk! I only have 10lbs more to lose and don't think it's gonna all come off around my middle but it sure feels like it should. Trish

Welcome Jess, I've seen you around the other boards and think you will be a great addition. This board is nice cause we all are basically going through the same stuff, give or take. We at least have lots of the same questions and frustrations. They are all a great group of people and you will like everybody I am sure! Trish

I spend almost all day on this website and I JUST discovered this board! How cool! We are all the May '06 Graduates! Okay, I need to catch up on what my "classmates" have been doing! I hope I run into the woman that I had surgery with at Kaiser in Richmond on the 8th of May last year.. her name was Sharon I think.. Anyhow, I'd love to see her progress. I was not certain if she was on this site or not.. So, you guys will see me around here now. Jess
