June 20th is my big day! I'm so excited and nervous all at the same time. I'm busy trying to lose pre-op weight and am doing well. I've been planning this surgery since August of 2005 and I cant believe I'm less than 3 weeks away! YAY!!!!!! :)

Hello everyone! This is my first time posting....My date is next Friday, June 9th! I am so excited and nervous and......Just plain ready for my surgery! It seems like I have been waiting forEVER! Hi Everyone, June 6th for me here. I'm scared and excited at the same time. This time next week it will be over and my new life will be started. I've been thru the whole diet change before. I was diagnosed with celiac about a year ago... but this will be completely different. No liquid diet here, but no meat or hard to digest items from now on and then only light foods the day before nothing after midnight on Monday. Happy Happy. Goodluck and blessings to all! Laney

Here I am finally.. approved and ready to lose some weight!!! I am Joni from Arkansas, I am having RNY with Dr. Kellar on June 19th at noon at WRMC in Fayetteville. I will be the programs SECOND bypass (but my doctor has done MANY). This is the hospital I worked at for 6 years, and know many of the people so thats why I trust them. And of course I know Dr. Kellar from there as well, so despite knowing what a great doctor he is, I know he is a great man. I cant wait!!!!
